About Your Role

• As a Risk Expert, you will help developing risk policies and underwriting rules to assess creditworthiness of private individuals who apply for unsecured personal loans in a digital mode.
• You are responsible for ensuring compliance with banking regulations.
• You closely cooperate with IT to test user stories relevant for the decision-making process.
• You cooperate in implementing automatic decision tool, where key information are taken from ANAF and Credit Bureau.
• Fraud prevention practices create an integral part of your activity, from hypothesis testing to implementation.
• You are cooperating with Risk team for monitoring and development of portfolio quality, where prompt adjustments will be needed.
• You support the establishment of a robust risk monitoring framework and track key risk indicators.
• You are responsible for integrating risk management into business processes and decision-making and respond effectively to unforeseen events that may pose a threat to the bank's operations.

Is this You?

• You have a Bachelor’s degree.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in banking or related risk management, with a strong understanding of local regulatory requirements.
• In-depth knowledge of retail credit risk within the banking sector.
• Strong understanding of local Credit Bureau.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make informed decisions based on data and trends.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Fluency in English and Romanian is required.
• Intuitive handling of MS Office 365 tools.
• Fond of occasional business travelling (mostly to Austria and Slovenia).
